Is Humor the Best Weapon?

During the 1960s and 1970s, when modern radical liberalism was young and on the march, humor along with music were two of its chief weapons in communicating its message throughout the popular culture and recruiting youth to their side. They were also used to bludgeon those old fuddy-duddies holding progress back.

It can be said that liberals have lost their sense of humor since then. Their humor now is generally about as subtle and funny as a sledge hammer.

Conservatives on the other hand have gotten much funnier.

Steve Hayward over at Power Line assembled these two great send-ups of the Hollywood “Save the Day” political commercial that appeared a week or so ago.

The first one is good and professional but the second one is genius. You know that’s what those Hollywood airheads are really thinking.

As Kenny Banya would say, “It’s comedy gold!” Watch and enjoy.
