And This Guy Goes to Jail?

The Democrats and the media (one and the same) claimed another pair of Republican scalps with the conviction of former Chris Christie aides Bill Baroni and Bridget Kelly concerning traffic on a New Jersey bridge. Somehow Baroni and Kelly engineered for the New Jersey transpo people to realign some lanes on the bridge to cause chaos in retaliation for the local mayor’s refusal to endorse Christie’s run for governor.

Yes, monkey with traffic lanes — you know, kind of like what Democrat politicians do all the time when they want to cause chaos to press for more highway funds. “If we only had more (Federal) money we could fix these problems!”

But these were Republicans so the book was tossed at them.

However, my big point is that these two got actual jail time (he two years and she 18 months) for what was a messy political tug of war. Meanwhile, Hillary Clinton and the Clinton Crime Crew are still free despite committing several high crime felonies, notably the whole email server setup and then lying about it and then destroying evidence and then dissembling to investigators, etc…

Meanwhile, we have a steady state of leakage of classified (anti-Trump) information by Obama holdovers in the government and no one, at least in the Democratic Party or the media, benefiting from these leaks, is demanding investigations and then some hides in jail.

Then we get the Evelyn Farkas revelations that she was an (anti-Trump) information wrangler in the later days of the Obama administration. She had been a deputy assistant secretary of defense in the Obama administration (Oy!) until she left to join the Hillary Clinton campaign in 2015. So, after Hill was put down, Farkas (and others) apparently spent the interlude before Trump was inaugurated collecting and pushing dissemination of negative Trump info throughout Capitol Hill (and the media). Much, if not all of this information, was classified. Oddly, she was apparently, technically, unemployed at the time, yet had quite a bit of access to various intelligence agencies.

It’s wholly possible, and unclear from her MSNBC interview, that she may have been dealing in this classified information before the election and while still employed by the Clinton campaign. Imagine if this had been a Republican…

Farkas actually seems quite proud of what she did and completely oblivious that she looks to be confessing to a series of felonies and outlining a major Washington-based felony conspiracy that sounds like something out of a movie.

She perfectly characterizes the modern liberal’s belief that they are just so great, and their cause so pure that mere laws do not apply to them.

And they are all scot free…

Clintons Going Out of Business Sale

I’m a little late in getting to this but I can’t stop laughing that the Clinton Global Initiative — part of the enormous scam known as the Clinton Crime Family Foundation… er… Clinton Foundation — is shutting down.

It seems that all those countries, rich folks, celebrities and corporations have realized that paying protection money, graft, bribes and baksheesh to the Clintons and their various hangers-on is no longer of any use.

Or as Glenn Reynolds puts it, “What happens to an influence-peddling operation when there’s no influence to peddle?”

Of course, you might not have heard that this multimillion dollar money laundering operation is closing because big media is too busy stalking Donald Trump like Glenn Close in “Fatal Attraction” to report on such things; to report on actual news (that makes Democrats look bad and/or exposes their craven calumny).

In reality the Clinton Global Initiative was always a shakedown operation that enriched the Clinton Crime Syndicate. It existed for no other purpose. There was no “global initiative” (other than shaking down anyone, anywhere on the planet). Most of the money went to well-heeled and well-connected people to put on conferences to be attended by other well-heeled and well-connected people where they got out the tin cup to get money from taxpayers and corporations across the globe. It also made sure that the Big Pig and HilLIARy traveled in first class and stayed at the best hotels before they delivered their highly-compensated, self-congratulatory bloviations to their audiences of international elites, who then patted themselves on their backs for being so concerned about whatever was the cause du jour.

So what happens to those who worked there, apparently about two dozen low-level grifter tenderfoots? They are being cut loose. Now, you’d think, that with all the lectures that people like Billary have delivered to businesses about not shutting down useless or money-losing operations, to keep them open no matter how much money they lose, that they’d keep CGI open, even on life-support, just to keep those people employed. After all, as Democrats always insist, the rich have scads of wealth from magical, never-ending sources.

But you’d be wrong. Remember, the rules don’t apply to our superiors like Mr. & Mrs. Ex-President. Do as I say, not as I do is their motto.

Interestingly, the employees of the Clinton Global Initiative, based in New York, were non-union. Imagine that, a Democrat operation that hires only non-union employees and then fires them when the operation runs out of gas. Hmmmmm, the word hypocrisy comes to mind.

Kind of reminds me of unions that hire non-union people to walk their picket lines and always pays them below the minimum wage (They’ve even done that at minimum wage promotion rallies!).

However, I suspect that these people will land on their feet in academia, media, Wall Street, politics, NGOs, etc.

King Barry the Hypocrite

Actually hypocrite is an understatement but as with all things derogatory, King Barry is the unexcelled master.

Witness his performance on “The Daily Show” on the appropriately named Comedy Central network.

Firstly, Obama whined to host Trevor Noah that he didn’t understand why there was such a ruckus by Republicans about Hillary Clinton’s perfectly “ordinary” emails. Of course Obama was lying through his teeth on this. He knows that the emails in question were not “ordinary” but rather classified, some of them containing the information with the highest levels of classification.

That was just one of Clinton’s crimes. A second one, which Obama knows about since he participated in it as well, is that Clinton set up an independent email system outside of the secured State Dept. system. One which that only she and her cronies controlled not the State Dept. IT security people. That is in direct violation/purposeful subversion of so many federal government record-keeping/archives/public oversight laws that Clinton & Co. should be facing tens or hundreds of thousands of dollars in fines and decades in jail.

Remember Gen. David Petraeus? He got two years probation and $100,000 fine after he pled guilty to what is a single quill on a porcupine compared to Clinton’s activities. Amazingly when Petraeus’s name popped up as a potential Sec. of State nominee, Democrats and the MSM immediately pointed out that Petraeus was unqualified for the job because he was guilty of leaking some secrets.

It was as if fish were complaining that a cactus was too wet…

But back to Obama on “The Daily Show.” The Hypocrite in Chief had the nerve to castigate Donald Trump for Trump’s questioning whether he’d need a daily intelligence briefing. John Hinderaker takes our foolish lame duck president to task for this Mt. Everest of hypocrisy.

If one remembers, Obama is known for eschewing daily intel briefings or playing with his phone on the rare occasions he does take one. See, The One knows all so no one could ever possibly brief him… At least in his own mind.

What to Do With Hillary?

There have been times when a defeated general or political leader was executed. Some would argue that we’ve “progressed” beyond that.

So what will the victorious leader, Donald Trump, do with the defeated leader, Hillary Clinton?

In most American elections, the defeated can regroup for another try or they can do something else. But in the case of Hillary Clinton there’s the case of the series of felonies she committed as Secretary of State.

The FBI investigated and its leader, Jimmy the Weasel Comey (bet he’s sweating bullets now), declared a fat “Meh,” when it came to prosecuting the obvious crimes of the private server and illegal handling of her emails.

Some, in a sense of magnanimity, have offered that Trump should pardon Hillary. (Many of these people were NeverTrumpers so they truly are playing with house money.)

Such a move would be a disaster for Trump. It would be the equivalent of George H.W. Bush’s famous breaking of his “No new taxes” pledge. He never recovered from it and became a one-term president. Nothing would cheese off Trump’s troops than to let Hillary escape.

She must face the music.

If Trump is in a forgiving mood, I’d say that he could recommend that, due to her health conditions, etc. she not face jail time. But such an offer should be highly conditional on her issuing an admission of guilt (no weaselly ‘Other secretaries did the same… and it was approved’ BS) along with a detailed listing of all the crimes and her involvement along with names and details of her various cronies and their crimes (Mills, Sullivan, Samuelson, Abedin, Kendall, et al). All of them would give up their law licenses and leave Washington, do no lobbying and stay away from politics (don’t worry, they’ll quickly be employed by Ivy League schools and large corporations… They won’t starve.)

The admissions should also include King Barry’s negligence as well. (Maybe while they are at it they could get her to confess her incompetence on the night of Benghazi and the subsequent string of self-dealing lies she issued in the following weeks.)

Most importantly, Clinton needs to be made an example of — no one is above the law. It will be a good lesson for everyone and set an example for the children. It will also be a shot across the bow of our amoral-yet-self-righteous arrogant left who think that the law doesn’t pertain to them.

Dismantling of the Clinton Foundation scamhaus should also be a priority. A reformed IRS could revoke its charity status (at a minimum).

There’s always the possibility that King Barry I will pardon her on his way out. Let that be on his head.

The Bias Grows

The bias of the American “news” media is increasing daily. I guess they finally feel completely liberated now, no longer having to pay a fig-leaf of obeisance to that J School fiction for the ages — being an unbiased deliverer of “just the facts, ma’am.”

Why would Variety of all publications step outside of its cozy niche to endorse Hillary Clinton? Admittedly Clinton’s pay for play corruption, amorality and anything-goes smash mouth politics matches Hollywood’s business ethics and the personalities of so many Hollywood power players but it still smacks of kicking a hornet’s nest. I feel they will live to regret their prostitution.

Hollywood has seen a number of recent years where box office receipts disappointed and more than the usual amount of bombs. It relies on often conservative-oriented action movies to pay the bills (and cover the libtard personal projects).

But to say that Hillary Clinton is “In fact, it’s hard to think of any presidential candidate with the depth of knowledge and public-service record she has.” Wow, that is delusional in a magnitude way.

Whatcha bet that Variety publisher Michelle Sobrino-Stearns (Hyphen-American!) and her editors are also Hillary funders?

Yet our own Barack Obama has said much the same… At a recent campaign stop he praised Hillary’s honesty and he has also tapped the uber-qualified meme.

I actually think that Obama is going so over-the-top in his praise so as to be winking at us or, matching his maturity, he’s just mugging like a high schooler weaned on Steve Martin… Or a kid invoking Opposite Day.

If he’s serious, one would have to question his sanity. It’s like calling a Wilt Chamberlain a midget.

Scott Johnson at Power Line has the video here.

And speaking of Power Line, if you haven’t, I highly recommend their Friday weekly contributor — Ammo Grrl. Check the latest out.

One of the commenters on that piece, the always perceptive Mary Louise Pivec, makes an interesting point: “When the first black president was elected, Michael Jackson and Prince were alive, Tiger Woods was at the top of the leader board, Oprah was the queen of the airwaves and Bill Cosby was a beloved national treasure. Eight years in, our musical royalty is dead, Oprah’s off the air and Cosby is one of the most despised public figures in the world. As president, Hillary Clinton will do the same for American women.”

We live in interesting times and they are about to get more interesting.

Fisking Hillary

Here’s Hillary Clinton’s op-ed for USA Today on why people should vote for her. It’s really kind of simplistic. An intern probably write it. I’ve added a few comments.

In January, America is going to have a new president. Things are going to change — that much is certain. [But, Hill, I thought things under you and O were great. Why do they need to change?] The question is, what kind of change are we going to have?

We can build an economy that works for everyone, or stack the deck even more for those at the top. [Which is exactly how Hillary wants it since she’s at the top.]

We can keep America safe through strength and smarts [Smartpower! How’s that worked out? It hasn’t.] — or turn our backs on our allies, and cozy up to our adversaries. [All of which is a perfect description of the Obama foreign policy, much of which you’ve been involved with intimately.]

We can come together to build a stronger, fairer America, or fear the future and fear each other. [Aren’t you the candidate telling every minority you can find that if you aren’t elected they’ll be in chains or pregnant and without an abortion mill within a stone’s throw?]

Everything I’ve done, as first lady, senator, or secretary of State, I’ve done by listening to people and looking for common ground, even with people who disagree with me. [Seriously, you said that with a straight face?] And if you elect me on Tuesday, that’s the kind of president I’ll be. [Lady, you must have the face of a stone if you didn’t break out into laugh after that howler.]

Here are four priorities for my first 100 days — issues I’ve heard about from Americans all over our country. [Is this ‘hearing from Americans’ meme poll-tested. You seem to be hitting it like a drunk hits the bottle.]

First, we will put forward the biggest investment in new jobs since World War II. [Wait, we gotta start a World War to get the economy moving? Isn’t Trump supposed to be the warmonger?] We’ll invest in infrastructure and manufacturing to grow our economy for years to come. [Is this ‘investment’ going to be bigger than Obama’s ‘Stimulus’? How’d that work out?] We’ll produce enough renewable energy to power every home in America within a decade. [Are you drunk right now? Who told you anything like that was remotely possible?] We’ll cut red tape for small businesses and make it easier for entrepreneurs to get the credit they need to grow and hire — because in America, if you can dream it, you should be able to build it. [How can you cut red tape if you are going to expand the administrative state? And where are these loans coming from?] We’ll pay for it all by asking the wealthy, Wall Street and big corporations to finally pay their fair share. [Oh, I see. Soak the rich. You are aware that the rich already pay a disproportionate amount of taxes? Of course you are. You’re just cynically manipulating the unintelligent but very envious supporters now.] And this commitment will go far beyond the first 100 days. Creating more good jobs with rising incomes will be a central mission of my presidency. [Um, you do understand that you can no more command that than King Canute could command the sea?]

Second, we will introduce comprehensive immigration reform legislation. [Why does ‘immigration’ need to be reformed? There’s nothing wrong with the laws we have that enforcing them wouldn’t fix.] The last president to sign comprehensive immigration reform was Ronald Reagan, and it was a priority for George W. Bush. I’m confident that we can work across the aisle to pass comprehensive reform that keeps families together and creates a path to citizenship, secures our border, and focuses our enforcement resources on violent criminals. [There’s nothing listed here that wouldn’t be enabled by simply enforcing the current laws.] This is the right thing to do, and it will also grow our economy. [What, it doesn’t cure cancer too? Lay off the hallucinogens.]

Third, to break the gridlock in Washington, we need to get secret, unaccountable money out of our politics. [Like the money that has enriched you and the Democratic Party?] It’s drowning out the voices of the American people. [How?] So within my first 30 days, I will introduce a constitutional amendment to overturn Citizens United. [Because you want all political speech to be approved by a government that you and your bureaucratic minions control? The First Amendment is very clear.] We should be protecting citizens’ rights to vote, not corporations’ rights to buy elections.[So you admit that corporations are buying the presidency for you?]

Fourth, we need to get started on end-to-end criminal justice reform. Too many people have been sent away for far too long for non-violent offenses. [No, many if not most of those people also had weapons charges against them but they pleaded to lesser charges. You’re just lying to get more felons sprung so they can vote for Democrats.] I believe our country will be stronger and safer when everyone has respect for the law and everyone is respected by the law.[‘Everyone has respect for the law.’ Does that include you? Your husband? Cheryl Mills? Heather Samuelson? David Kendall? Jake Sullivan? Jimmy the Weasel Comey? Et al.]

There’s so much more we need to do together, and we certainly won’t get it all done in the first 100 days. But we’re going to roll up our sleeves and get to work for American families — and I’ll never, ever quit. [I’m pretty sure you’ll quit when you’re dead. And why families? What about us single people?]

I want to be president for all Americans — Democrats, Republicans and independents; Americans of every race, faith and background. [Is this going to be like Obama’s everyone? Where some everyones are more equal than other everyones?]

My opponent has run his campaign on divisiveness, fear and insults, and spent months pitting Americans against each other. [Holy cow! Did you not read what you just wrote above? Oh, nevermind, I forgot, you’re a liberal so hypocrisy is your middle name and self-awareness is a concept to you like grasping the 47th dimension is to the average human being.] I’ve said many times that Donald Trump has shown us who he is. Now we have to decide who we are. [Admit it, that last sentence is a nod to Obama.]

Because it’s not just our names on the ballot this year. Every issue we care about is on the ballot, too. This is about who we are as a country — and whether we are going to have change that makes us stronger together, or change that pushes us further apart. [That whole self-awareness thing really is hard for you, isn’t it?]

It all comes down to this. I love our country. [So why are you so eager to turn into a socialist hellhole?] I believe in our people. [Actual Americans or your little clique of entitled elites? I’m thinking you are really referring to the latter.] And I think there’s nothing we can’t achieve if we work together and invest in each other. [Always have to work in that money angle…]
