Clintons Going Out of Business Sale

I’m a little late in getting to this but I can’t stop laughing that the Clinton Global Initiative — part of the enormous scam known as the Clinton Crime Family Foundation… er… Clinton Foundation — is shutting down.

It seems that all those countries, rich folks, celebrities and corporations have realized that paying protection money, graft, bribes and baksheesh to the Clintons and their various hangers-on is no longer of any use.

Or as Glenn Reynolds puts it, “What happens to an influence-peddling operation when there’s no influence to peddle?”

Of course, you might not have heard that this multimillion dollar money laundering operation is closing because big media is too busy stalking Donald Trump like Glenn Close in “Fatal Attraction” to report on such things; to report on actual news (that makes Democrats look bad and/or exposes their craven calumny).

In reality the Clinton Global Initiative was always a shakedown operation that enriched the Clinton Crime Syndicate. It existed for no other purpose. There was no “global initiative” (other than shaking down anyone, anywhere on the planet). Most of the money went to well-heeled and well-connected people to put on conferences to be attended by other well-heeled and well-connected people where they got out the tin cup to get money from taxpayers and corporations across the globe. It also made sure that the Big Pig and HilLIARy traveled in first class and stayed at the best hotels before they delivered their highly-compensated, self-congratulatory bloviations to their audiences of international elites, who then patted themselves on their backs for being so concerned about whatever was the cause du jour.

So what happens to those who worked there, apparently about two dozen low-level grifter tenderfoots? They are being cut loose. Now, you’d think, that with all the lectures that people like Billary have delivered to businesses about not shutting down useless or money-losing operations, to keep them open no matter how much money they lose, that they’d keep CGI open, even on life-support, just to keep those people employed. After all, as Democrats always insist, the rich have scads of wealth from magical, never-ending sources.

But you’d be wrong. Remember, the rules don’t apply to our superiors like Mr. & Mrs. Ex-President. Do as I say, not as I do is their motto.

Interestingly, the employees of the Clinton Global Initiative, based in New York, were non-union. Imagine that, a Democrat operation that hires only non-union employees and then fires them when the operation runs out of gas. Hmmmmm, the word hypocrisy comes to mind.

Kind of reminds me of unions that hire non-union people to walk their picket lines and always pays them below the minimum wage (They’ve even done that at minimum wage promotion rallies!).

However, I suspect that these people will land on their feet in academia, media, Wall Street, politics, NGOs, etc.

The Depravity of the Liberal

To see the depravity of the liberal mind; the inherent viciousness; the calcified amorality/immorality, just take a look at the comments section of this story on Ken Starr’s resignation as chancellor at Baylor.

Liberals will never forgive Starr for his investigations of Bill Clinton. More than a few think Starr was somehow self-appointed. Several of them see absolutely nothing wrong with an older, politically powerful married man having his way with a confused young girl under his care. The number who wish him ill is disturbing.

The man upheld the law and decent morality. He was not arrogant and always played by the rules. And for that they’d pillory him.

Most assuredly they are Hillary and Bernie supporters.

Has decency become the enemy for these people? Is it too much to expect people to behave?

Well, these are liberals. They cheer on criminal behavior and aggressively excuse misbehavior, especially among minorities. Pointing out foibles and failures will receive vitriol from them. Unless, of course, it’s the weakness of a Republican or conservative, wherein the liberal will chortle and frolic, rather than despair that someone has failed to live up to their ideals.

I’m sure if these men, and most of them are men, were to have their young daughter seduced by a politically powerful older man, they’d feel different. Or would they? It’s hard to know just how far a liberal has fallen in their servitude to evil.

A Star and Starr-Crossed

Dr. Thomas Sowell, like Victor Davis Hanson and Glenn Reynolds, just has a simple, smooth, transparent delivery of profound insight and deep knowledge. I’ll read an item just because he wrote it, rather than having to decide to check it out via the title.

Here Sowell tells it like it is — “Commencement Season” — taking to task so many college commencement speakers and their dimwitted, spoiled-rotten student audiences. Read it (and weep).

We really do have to clean out the Augean Stables that our colleges have become.

And speaking of cleaning out colleges — pity poor Ken Starr. Looks like he’s going to be the sacrificial goat for the football scandal at Baylor. Usually a football scandal takes out a football coach (or three) and then the athletic director. The head of the school is usually far enough removed that he’s unlikely to be harmed. He didn’t recruit or sign the players or coaches performing the nefarious deeds. And one can already hear the baying liberals and their schadenfreude.

It’s truly amazing the hatred in a liberal’s heart. They crow about Starr’s expected demise and remind themselves how he was defeated in his efforts “to get” Bill Clinton. If you’ve ever heard a libtard talk about Starr they seem to be under the impression that he was self-appointed or appointed by Newt Gingrich or appointed by some dark, Christo-Republican cabal. They are always surprised to learn that he was properly appointed by a bipartisan group, including Janet Reno. They are in complete denial over Clinton’s crimes and see his escape as proof of innocence rather than Senate Democrats refusing to do their sworn duty. Remember, libtards, OJ was found not guilty as well by a biased jury.

Starr’s regime at Baylor hasn’t been exactly smooth. Yes, Baylor is a “conservative” school in Texas but that’s a relative term these days. Even in Texas. He’s been under constant attack (many of which seem to emanate from the University at Texas in Austin) and from some Baylor faculty who have never liked the idea that Clinton’s “Javert” was the public face of the school. Even Texas-based professors worship Slick Willie.

There are no schools in America (other than maybe Hillsdale) that are safe from liberal infiltration and machination. They view the whole educational system in America as their play toy. Even in Texas. At my bachelor’s alma mater, Southern Methodist University (in Dallas, the ‘City that killed Kennedy’), there was a small faculty rebellion over the decision to place the George W. Bush Presidential Library there. They actually wanted to turn away the presidential library of a man who was also a former governor of Texas and part owner of the local professional baseball team. What is wrong with these people? The depth of hatred in a liberal is bottomless.

Hillary Clinton Delenda Est

It takes a special kind of gall for someone as polarizing and hated as Hillary Clinton is to stand up at a campaign rally and cluck that someone such as Donald Trump should never be let near the White House. Liberals are so amazingly lacking in self-awareness. Hey, Hillary, remember when you were taking his donations and palling around with him at parties and fundraisers? I wouldn’t be the slightest bit surprised that if you asked her about that she’d look you in the face and insist she never met Donald Trump. (And the dingaling reporter asking her the question wouldn’t bother to call her on that blatant fib.)

Another thought — remember way back when Bill Clinton was cornered over the Monica Lewinsky crisis and the White House team, including Hillary, were trying to figure out what lies would work best in the public relations battle? At that point the Democrats on the Hill had effectively jammed up the legal proceedings to remove him from office so the battlefield was the public popularity. The Clintons realized that if they lost the public relations battle Bill Clinton would have to resign. So, according to Dick Morris, Bill Clinton said, “Well, we’ll just have to win then.” And that was the peak of the win-at-any-cost-demonize-anyone-in-the-way method of Clintonian scorched earth campaigning.

I really get that same vibe these days when it comes to Hillary Clinton and her email troubles. She wants to win the White House as the culmination of her “illustrious” career, as a way to further consolidate democrat socialist power and, finally, to save her bacon on this legal front. I suspect that as soon as she gets away from the public on her inaugural day, she’ll order whatever investigations are going on to shut down and evidence destroyed. Any FBI agents deemed to have been insufficiently deferential to Hillary Clinton and the Clinton Crime Gang will be terminated or brought up on charges.

Interestingly, going back to the Roman opening of this piece, one of the reasons Caesar pursued his imperial plans was to stay in office to thwart numerous legal actions against him. It does have to be acknowledged, however, that Hillary is no Caesar.

(Admittedly some of these lines are off a beat or two [syllabic disagreement with the original], “Clintonia” is not nearly mellifluous as “California” and the rhyming scheme is chaotic [the original rhymes only even numbered lines]). I dashed this off in a couple of hours so I’m sure someone could improve upon it.
